The River Basin Management Society (RBMS) have teamed with the organisers of the Murray-Darling Basin seminar series to bring the screening of DamNation to North East Victoria.
“This powerful film odyssey across America explores the sea change in our national attitude from pride in big dams as engineering wonders to the growing awareness that our own future is bound to the life and health of our rivers.”
Over refreshments, a discussion will be led by Jamie Kaye, exploring the relevance of the film to our Murray-Darling Basin.
The trailer for the film can be viewed here.
The Murray-Darling Basin Seminar Series (MDBSS) promotes communication between local institutions and people interested in the environment, ecology and natural resource management in our region.
