What makes for remarkable waterway management?

Insights from three RBMS Awards Night winners


The River Basin Management Society held its inaugural awards night in August to celebrate the achievements of our industry and recognise the outstanding contributions made by individuals and organisations within the industry.
The RBMS’s sixth seminar for the year gives you the chance to hear three of our award winners reflect on their achievements, what made their projects so successful and what they have learnt from their experiences.


Facilitated by Mark Stacey (RBMS Executive Committee), our speakers include:

  • Dr Jane Doolan
    Melbourne Water award for leadership in waterway management
  • Damian Wells – CEO, North Central CMA
    Involving community in waterway management, Achieving excellence in catastrophic event response
  • Will Steele – Senior Biodiversity Scientist, Melbourne Water
    Outstanding waterway management project of the year


Join us for cheese, wine and soft drink from 5.45 pm. The seminar will commence at 6.15 pm.
